3 miles this morning, inside. A little too muggy to run outside here in Miami, and I was short on time.

regular route but the sun was out and it was unseasonably pleasant... about 4 miles total, but it was just nice to enjoy the outdoors this afternoon. Hopefully the weekend will be more of the same. smile.gif

About 8 last night (4 miles at 7 min pace then did like 3 X 800 at 6 min pace w/ 90 seconds recovery it sucked but I got through it)
Tonight I went for a run in LA and got totally lost so had to go in to starbucks and ask directions to a taco bell, my only landmark. I did know what street the taco bell was on, but that was it. Came in about 9 miles really slow.

5mi Friday morning, 4mi Friday evening. est day today before Melbourne, FL Half Marathon tomorrow morning. Even with a milder winter in Chicago warmed by southern weather systems, it still feels reeeeeally humid here in Melbourne.

This morning, 4 miles. Temperature, 25 degrees, but no wind. No complaint. I was comfortable with running shorts and compression socks and a light top. This mostly snow-less winter has been great for running. Well, there was one thing to complain about.... At one point during the run, I came across a terrible stench of skunk odor. Just held my nose and ran faster.

Well, I'm yo-yoing through my training now. It was 8 on Wednesday, then Thursday I stopped a mile into it with foot pain (stress rx?) and wound up taking off Thurs-Fri-Sat. Sunday I went 16 miles in 2:07 and felt fine, but I woke up today and was sore and had a headache (dehydration, what was I thinking?). Today: 0 miles, but tomorrow I need to cook up a good speed workout.

Four weeks to marathon 2 for the year.
