How many miles did you run today? - Page 366

Rabbit--Sure thing! I'm in Evanston, also nicknamed Heavenston (high church-to-resident ratio).
14 miles this morning in a beautiful light snowfall.

Sweet Nemo!

I also ran in the same light snow fall. I have to say, I really hate the ruts that mountain bikes leave on wet trails, that freeze into ridges-o-death for my feet. They feel like hamburger this evening.I should probably be wearing more substantial shoes.....
12 miles today, I was the only runner I saw. The snow makes everything magic and its fun to double back on your tracks late in a run to see if your stride has shortened.

Wow - first post in a long while. Those IT punks at work blocked SF. Thankfully the DW got me an iPad for my birthday. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Glad to see everyone putting in the miles - keep up the good work!

Btw: 3 easy miles on the treadmill.

Rabbit--Funny, I do the same thing. Stride analysis on the return trip.
4 miles this morning after a few hours of work on a Sunday morning, and a strength workout at the Y.

6 miles this morning. I took a break from running yesterday and Friday because of issues with my left leg and a hectic work schedule. The break was hard to take, but I needed it. Today's run was a lot of fun.

20K today...my longest run, ever. I really dislike outdoor running, but decided for the first time in my life to give it a semi-serious try starting this summer. Signed up for for a half in four months, so will plan / hope on getting my time down to something respectable.

Anyways, some gems today that got me through it:

Psycho Killer
Love Will Tear Us Apart
Oliver's Army
Town Called Malice
I'm Waiting For The Man
The Passenger
Rebellion (Lies)
When I Come Around
Bankrobber
Strangelove
Laid

love that psycho killer and love will tear us apart were on there spatlese. Love both of those songs and have them on my Sony W series thing.

just under 9 for me today. WOOHOO. Felt like I averaged around 7-7:10 pace for the first 7.5 miles then I died. hopefully I will break in too double digits soon . . . .

I think that gives me like 30 miles for the week. Respectable I guess.

Took yesterday off as my feet were hamburger from the damn mt. bike ruts in my trails. Im recovered and doing a 5 mile speed workout on the dreadmill before hitting some major last minute x-mas shopping.
Anyone else put a ton of running stuff on the list?
Besides some Vanda tie/pocket square damage, everything on my list was at runningwharehouse.com
Tons of Solomon apparel and a few pairs of shoes....I should post what my Kinvara's look like....its kind of scary.
