4 miles today in about 28:30 after a couple hours of basketball. Am going to try and start running in the morning though since the weather seems to be finally getting nice.

Got up around 5 AM, ran 5.2km, ate breakfast, went to gym for a quick workout and I feel great.

Ran 7.5 yesterday early. It is too hot and humid now to run in the afternoon.
Ankle is getting better, but I took a curb wrong and kind of facked it up.

Running the race in Seattle on the weekend.....

Just flew into the PNW yesterday, the hills at my Mom's are amazing....

Good luck with the race. I assume it's the Rock n Roll marathon right?

6.4 in about 47min yesterday in the heat, summer has finally arrived here in Oregon. Had a case of bubble guts all day today but got in a short 3.2 in around 23min this evening when it cooled off.

6.4 miles today in about 45 minutes. Kept it under a 7 minute pace almost the whole run, felt pretty good.

Did a 5 mile run, making 18 miles for the week. This is after having done maybe 3 miles/week for the prior month or so. I'm feeling little aches in legs that don't feel familiar. I hope I didn't ramp up the mileage too fast.

5 miles this evening in a little under 38min. Running after eating alot of chinese food is never a good idea.

Jeez some of you guys are some serious athletes! Awesome!

I ran 5 miles yesterday at 44 minutes, and I decided to time a mile today and did it in 6:30(goal is sub-6:00). I have a weight-lifter's body but am contemplating dropping some weight to maybe speed up some of this running.

Any larger framed fellows(and I don't mean fat) have any luck on getting faster without getting too skinny? I don't want my bench press to plummet.

Right now I weigh in at around 175 for someone that is 5'9 so by no means am I a light weight. After having surgery last year I let my body go and haven't really gotten back into the shape I want, lack of discipline on my diet. I am not the fastest runner at this weight but I can still go out and run a 5k under in around 19 minutes.

Getting back into competitive cycling. 3 hours on the bike today, came out to 63mi. Average of 21mph. Not too bad, still got some speed work to do, and lots of LT work.
