Ive not been on here at all as of late.
Been doing tons of running.
Did Ice Age trail race on Sat. Not the best race time, but had an amazing time running it. That course is insane in the relentless up and down and very rugged nature.
Did 5 yesterday and 6.6 today , but still no where near recovered.

Ran on the treadmill yesterday for the first time in months. I found it surprisingly enjoyable. You can really appreciate the lower impact on the knees but the best part was being able to really concentrate on improving my stride efficiency. It seems a lot easier to practice a good stride on the treadmill than when pounding the pavement. Anyway I did 4 miles at a 7:30 pace. Looking forward to pushing my long run today. I hoping to get 7.5 in an hour or so.

An easy 5+ miles this morning on a treadmill in Seoul. I thought I'd not be into it because of arriving only a few hours prior to running, and not feeling fully rested from the long flight. The hotel's fitness center is awesome so I'll go back later today for a workout, if I'm feeling up to it.

9 today & no supplemental stuff.
I am looking forward to going to San Fran tomorrow to shop and run a bit around there before Bay to Breakers. I am going to wear my compression tights for the drive up, hopefully will minimize stiffness associated with a 6-7 hour drive!

I recommend running along the Embarcadero and/or the Great Highway.

Anyone else doing B2B with me and Sam?

So I have an accessory navicular (extra ankle bone) which results in flat feet (think hobbit flat).

I've been running about 4 miles a day, but I need some pointers. My gait isn't natural at all. I don't run out of breath, I lift weights etc, I just can't seem to run very well since my feet are so damn flat.

Any pointers would be great. Thanks!

Also, I run in Newton Distance trainers.
