08:10 today. Got a Garmin Forerunner 235 HR which helps a lot, the data is really useful.

26.6 miles today. Ran a local mom and pop marathon. The last turn onto the road wasn't marked and got about .4 bonus miles in.
Good run and race. Felt good. 4th place overall. Superior 50K in a month. Getting psyched.

I got in 7.5 miles yesterday.  About 3 miles into my normal route I passed a dog as we both scared each other.  The next sign post I get to has his picture as lost.  Well I call the owners and run back to find him but he was nowhere to be seen so I spent the next 4 miles running around looking for the dog.  Poor little guy.

Friday I got in 8.2 miles and it started with a guy in a truck driving and talking while I was running about how he used to run 100 milers back when they were small but now he is out of shape.  Named some of the older ones so he could have been one of those old school guys.

1870 m in 08:15. According to my Forerunner, my hearbeat was 25 on average lower than yesterday which is a bit weird.

10 miles today.  Need to get another handheld water bottle as 25oz is too little in the coming heat over 10 miles.

4.7 this morning. Randomly decided to run down Valencia and then Market all the way to the Ferry Building. Since I was there, I grabbed a cuppa from Blue Bottle and then rode BART home.

5.8 miles at elevation (sort of... Denver). First run in over a week; Got wrecked by the flu.

LOL... That counts as elevation when you live at sea level! It took me several months to get fully acclimatized to 5400'. :)

5 mile lunchtime run in 45:12. Perfect weather too, with temps in the upper 40s.
