23 trail miles yesterday.

I got in 4.5 trail miles and I felt so out of shape!  Felt great to get out with no knee issues and really enjoy my time running.

10K run in 66 minutes.

Was going on pace until 4K when I took a scheduled break and started walking, lost all energy and couldn't get going again.

Three more. Still working my way up to the daily run. Four last week. Between my kids' schedule and the odd bout of insomnia, this is more challenging than I thought it would be.

2 miles then weights.  Thinking of trying for some morning trails tomorrow.  Need to wake up earlier for that though and 4:45am is already pushing it.

I ran 5.57KM this morning averaging a 7 minute 48 second per KM pace. This was my first run since last September after dealing with a Summer's worth of IT band and runner's knee issues with my left leg. Safe to say after a winter at the gym strength training giving extra special attention to core and legs, the runner's knee is gone and the left IT band is behaving itself. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif
