How many miles did you run today? - Page 741

A single mile on the dreadmill yesterday morning. I'll take it, though, because I was working on three hours of sleep after a cross-country flight and the exercise room in the hotel was super muggy and hot (indoor pool-adjacent).

1.8 last night, and I didn't feel great afterwards. I'm kind of starting to panic because I'm running a 5k this weekend.

I was going for an easy 5 miler, but the I ran into a friend 3.5 miles in, and it turned into 8.1 miles. Not bad for a first run in a new shoe model (Saucony Kinvara 5)!

13.14 (Pi + 10) miles at E pace. I ran at a steady 9:36 pace, right on pace, despite temps that were up to 82 by the end.

I got 2.7 today, and I felt pretty good. Running my 5K tomorrow!

15 miles on the trails yesterday. It was pretty warm (high 80s/low 90s) but few sections with ample shade made it pretty bearable.

Easy 4 this evening. That makes 45.3 for the past 6 days. Good times!

Thanks man! I'm excited to push myself to longer distances now.

Congrats! And proceed with caution, it's a slippery slope that leads one to longer and longer runs. :)

3. Probably started out too fast, but I felt light on my feet so I went with it.

6 miles on the tradmill at the gym this morning.

It was in the 50s as I was driving to work this morning (first time that warm in a loooooong time) and I saw a couple women out running in their skimpy shorts and sports bras. Maybe spring is finally here? nod[1].gif

I may be headed to Portland, Oregon for work later this year and am eyeing running in Forest Park just west of town. Some of the trails look pretty good without being too brutal. Anybody here ever run out there?

Running in Forest Park is awesome. I would also suggest Mt. Tabor, the east and west waterfronts (you could go back and forth, crossing the beautiful bridges), the watefront/Fort Vancouver area just over the Columbia River in Vancouver, WA, the Springwater Corridor, or just running through the city.
