How many miles did you run today? - Page 731

21 miles at a 9:55 pace. I ran out to the bay from home and back, so long gradual downhill followed by a long gradual uphill... I live at just under 300' elevation.

12.3 miles. 20 degrees, snow covered trail, mostly tramped down. Good time.

Nice run Fueco.

25 miles with just over 5k elevation. Same route as last week but took my phone to record the distance with strava (curiosity got the best of me). 225+ miles for January. Been a few years since I had a month with over 200 miles.

Some good runs out there today.

5.5 mile easy run today

Got in 4.5 trail miles yesterday then 5.8 miles on the treadmill today.  Seems like my knee is doing ok but I worry it will just piss me off on any longer trail run.

5 miles this morning with more pullups and dips halfway through. My pace was 8'18" on the way there and it slowed considerably on the way back, but I still managed to finish at an 8'33" pace, which is really good for me at that distance, especially considering I stopped to hit the workout stations.

4.5. Yesterday I tried the Nike trainer's workout that was in Runner's World last month. It kicked my ass. I'll try it again tomorrow.

Got in 2 miles this morning before weights.  Was going for 3 miles but needed some water and the gym water I filled my bottle up with was disgusting.  It makes me gag and want to leave the gym to find fresh water.

I ran 62.2 miles in January. That's my lowest monthly total since March of 2013 (60.3 miles that month). After a year of 1,700+ miles I think I was getting a little burned out with the running so I got back into the gym for a bit more weight training and spinning and the running went on the back burner. But now I'm starting to get a bit antsy. I need to get out there for a longer run sooner rather than later.

Did it again this morning. The magazine suggests starting with 5 reps for the core stuff, working up to 10. In the video, the guy jumps right in at 10 reps. I've started at 10 for everything but the plank rotations. For those, 5 because OUCH!
