Do not do what I have done by focusing on distance. The length of time you can run at a consistant speed is a better indicator of your fitness and will be a better base to build on.

Good advice - Thanks!

Umm... I refunded the person I resold them too when he alerted me that they were in fact, women's shoes. He had previous experience with RMWs and this was the first time that I was aware they were women's shoes. I mentioned that in the full story in the link in my signature in the feedback thread. I also didn't want to follow antirabbit around either but if you click the full story link in my signature I explain pretty clearly that I spent the first several months trying to PM him and he ignored them all (why? I don't know, I was pretty polite and patient in the majority of my PMs until he decided to just ignore me for the next several months). Dragging it out into the forums was the very last thing I wanted to do but I sent many many many PMs and yet he didn't even bother to respond to explain himself in anyway whatsoever (leaving me confused about the entire ordeal). And yes, I do hate doing this, but at least I am finally getting a response out of him.

Made the mistake yesterday, under the anticipatory endorphin high, to go on a new route, longer than I've done before, and in 100 degree (F) weather. The route happened to take me up a huge hill about a mile and a half into it which totally kicked my ass. Still, 3.6 miles in 41 minutes wasn't THAT much worse than my regular time so go me!

Sounds like what you did was shady at best. When you asked him what you could do for him, what did you mean?

Because a refund seems reasonable, especially given that we are talking $80

I won't buy from you just on principle.

Alright, just read Lel's story from his sig. If everything he says is true, then antirabbit is shady as hell. antirabbit needs to take the shoes back and refund Lel.

Yeah I'm really sorry for "crudding" up the thread but antirabbit is refusing to respond to PMs...

...so in the spirit of the thread I got off my lazy ass and went for a run around my block. Just finished calculating it and it turns out I ran...

1.414 miles

Not an impressive number, but I'm glad I ran anyways. Besides, as a sprinter, it's difficult for me to run long distances without a tangible and reachable goal right in front of me, but I'm still pretty happy I did it anyways.

Btw, does anyone know a good distance calculator online? The ones I found by quick google searches are kinda crappy, doesn't take into account streets so I have to keep measuring each street and adding all them up (I'm pretty sure the figure I arrived at is a little off).
