Do you have any more Barbas in 15.5 that you don't have listed on the site? If not do you know when you will be getting some more?

All of the Shop the Finest products seem to have disappeared from Amazon.  Is that something you will no longer be offering?

Thread Starter

Just a note to say that ShoptheFinest is an affiliate vendor in good standing, and that this thread was sequestered due to a misunderstanding on our side,  Mea maxima culpa to Ian  and to everyone else who has been inconvenienced by this snafu.

Cheers,

Fok.

Great, I too am looking forward to them.

While we are here, I wanted to first congratulate you on the new site + tech behind your ebay ads. STF's previous look was classic and simple enough to not look out of date, yet the freshen up is a nice improvement.

But, I have one complaint - now that both the site and ebay ads require selecting a size before displaying a measurement I can no longer search for items (pages) by simple measurements. For example, I always start shirt hunting by sleeve length because it's quicker to narrow down the options by finding the few 35.5, 35.75, or 36+* sleeve lengths in 40 and 41 than the other way around. Unfortunately, now that isn't possible - I have to open each shirt, select 40 or 41 to see the sleeve measurement for each. That's just too tough - and made even more difficult with each shirt listing not necessarily having all sizes.

In short, going from say 10 pages - 1 for each size with measurements - for each size of shirt makes searching through the inventory a lot easier than a single page that someone has to click options on to see if the details are what they want. At least for me.

*speaking of sleeve length, I was surprised to see the latest big shirt update of Borrelli's all - or at least the 20 or so that I looked through - had exactly 35" sleeves and nothing any longer. Since past shipments usually had ranges of size/fit/sleeve/etc.combinations, where I could usually find some that worked for me, I was disappointed to see such a large drop that had none for me.

Hopefully this reads as constructive - I still love STF!

Bought a shirt last Monday and it had already arrived by Wednesday. I'm in London — so that's some incredibly fast shipping, and the cost was very reasonable. Couldn't be happier with that kind of service.

Quick bump for STF + Ian and company - I bought 3 of the Barba shirts from a big update he had about 2 months ago. As always, his site's measurements and descriptions were spot on (I'm persnickety about those details), and everything arrived promptly and splendidly packaged.

This thread doesn't get enough traffic or love, so I just wanted to add my latest experience - the same excellence as always. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

I agree. Ian runs exceptional operation.  In addition, he's very accessible and treats everyone with equal importance - no matter if he/she is spending $20,000 or $20.00.  Let's not forget his staff too. They are exceptional. A big part of the appeal of STF is the expedience; if you need something in a hurry, Ian can do wonders to get it to you very quickly.

He has tons of stuff not on his site - so if you need something in particular that's not visible, simply ask him.  And if you're in the area, you can make an appointment and visit the shop in a no sales pressure stroll.  I am glad razl bumped this thread. I was meaning to do the same.

Thank you so very much for your kind words. This review, along with the other left today, were read aloud to the entire staff.

Thank you again!

just an fyi...

While I normally hunt dress wear at STF, today I stumbled across this in the casual section - a Borrelli wool+cash sweatshirt both in a 50 with athletic measurements (ala Isaia) and at an even more reasonable than usual price.

I've been off-and-on hunting a wool sweatshirt and have bought and returned quite a few, but this one looks to be a winner.

Just thought I'd post to remind everyone (myself included!) that STF isn't just for business but they've got a great assortment of casual items too. And, as always, this thread doesn't get anywhere near the love that Ian+co deserve.
