I'm a bit under 5'7", ~165lbs (I've got a belly), and measure up as approximately a 37S. Here's a few pics of me wearing a charcoal "Granoro" Benjamin in 38S. I sized up instead of down with advice from Mike at eHaberdasher, and that seems to have been the right way to go.
Pants are (obviously) unhemmed in the pic. I'd prefer slightly narrower shoulders, but then, I often have that problem (being a 37S apparently means you have 36 shoulders and a 38 chest). It's been suggested that the front balance is a bit short; I wonder if that means I should size up to a 38R?
I've tried a number of suits before and after this one from all sorts of brands (including J. Crew, SuitSupply, Lardini, and Caruso), and the Benjamin fits best. I eventually returned this suit, but only because I'd rather have it in medium grey instead of charcoal.
In short: fantastic suit. happy.gif You better believe I'm going to be all over any medium grey Benjamins in 38S when they drop in (hopefully) July.
If anyone has additional feedback on how this suit fits, I'd love to hear it.

Looks great! Perhaps a little taking in at the waist in the front part of the jacket only. Thanks for posting!

We did order plenty - hopefully enough though... there a lot of you 36R, 36S and 38S out there in SFLand!

By the way, for those not on our email list I forgot to post that we got in a nice shipment of Mattabisch shirts (made by the same factory that makes Kiton shirts, and actually Mattabisch is owned by Kiton). Also got in lots of Incotex trousers and more Kiton ties - all already on the site.

Mattabisch shirts

Incotex Trousers

In the next week we'll be announcing the new Pino Borriello shirts - also made by the Kiton/Mattabisch factory, along with more Battisti ties in 7 folds and a new patch pocket tie design as well. More good stuff coming your way!

Ben, I think your site says the Mattabisch shirts are full fitting. Is that right? how are the Pino Borriello shirts in comparison - or in comparison to the Benjamin shirts even?

Ben whats the ETA on the new suits?

I've been waiting well over a year for new colors in 44R. Sadly, I've given up hope.

The Pino Borriello shirts are like the Borrelli shirts - not as slim as the Benjamin shirts but not quite as full as the Mattabisch shirts. Actually you know Pino Borriello shirts are made in the same factory as Borrelli, Barba, Kiton, Mattabisch. Looks like Borriello used a lot of the same fabrics we have already in Borrelli, but there is more handwork in these than the Borrellli for sure.

Sorry... don't lose hope! We'll be introducing new fabrics this fall!

Finally got a hard date. They'll be shipped from the factory on August 5th. They will air ship some to us to get you guys started asap so hopefully by August 10th - 15th we'll have them online. Long overdue, I know. The demand is very great - we may end up taking pre-orders...

Just saw these pics and realized I never posted one. Snapped this low-quality picture after a wedding. Got lots of compliments on the jacket:

me-suit.jpg

That's the Benjamin Lucente 38s in navy. I'm 5'9/160lbs.

Tie is a 3" english laundry, and shoes are J&M Aldrich II (I feel they look a little clunky here).

Overall the suit fits great (thanks so much for swapping out the 38R Ben!). My biggest gripe is the damn collar that doesn't quite sit flush against me on the back despite some extra tailoring, but oh well.

Thoughts on the pants break? I'm considering taking them up another 0.5 - 1"

Thanks for posting! Looks great overall... collar issue does show on you slightly, but issue is resolved for this coming production due to arrive early/mid August! The trousers do like a tad long - I would consider taking them up as you mention.

New arrivals: Pino Borriello shirts and Battisti ties!

The PB shirts are fantastic! FYI they're all made in the same factory in Napoli as Kiton, Borrelli, Isaia, Mattabisch, Finamore, Barba and I hear Battisti is going to start making shirts there too! Here are some photos of the PB Black Label shirt details:

What is the fit on the Pino shirts, in general? Generous, slim, extra slim (like Benjamin)?

Fit is like Borrelli - in fact they even use some of the same patterns and model names as Borrelli. So a nice, intermediate fit.

The Pino Borriello are really nice.

I was wondering if you ever get any size 14 shirts?

Thanks.
