Yes we are aware of this... but thanks for letting me know. Been meaning to fix this for some time - just haven't gotten around to it! Sorry for the trouble and confusion...

I've been traveling and just got my recent Zegna Indigo MTO back from a tailor which I was using for the first time.   For some reason the jacket came back with only 3 button holes and he says he can't do more.   Just seems odd to me.  Anyone else experience this?

Just a guess: maybe the cuff is not long enough to accommodate another working button? If that's the case then you can ask about a non working button for the fourth button.

Maybe he got lazy after the third hole?

I kinda of seriously think this could be a possibility.

Or was the sleeve shortened so that there was only room for three afterwards (as breakaway01 suggested?)

Nice buttonholes.

I do the short-arm-three-button move somewhat frequently. I've come to appreciate it as a feature, rather than a downside. Now I choose 3 buttons for odd jackets even where there's room for 4...

We do have some exciting news as well...

Hi Ben,

Just wondering, are you guys planning on adding anymore flannel trousers anytime soon since we are entering the fall/winter season.

Also what may this exciting news be? :)

But a 3 hole looks way more modern than 4. I've done 3 on all my recent jackets.

Okay you guys have been patient and while the following is not 100% guaranteed I can't contain myself anymore. We are very close to big news on a few fronts:

1. New full canvas production made by an Italian company in Europe - we are doing a test run which we expect to receive by the end of next month.
2. MTM suits and jackets by this same company which we then hope to offer by the new year
3. SO CLOSE to signing a lease for a shop in a posh London suburb
4. Bella Spalla winter coats should be coming by the end of November, as are more trousers

Now the bad news: We will be offering the MTO jackets this week, BUT as things stand they will only be in Regular sizes which means no shorts or longs. But take heart, hopefully the MTM will completely replace the MTO by the new year. There is a chance if enough of you guys in Short and/or Long can narrow it down to 2 or 3 fabrics and we can get say at least 15 of you guys (in each category of short and long) to commit to those fabrics three fabrics, I may be able to convince the factory to make me an exception.
