Agreed. This will be a replacement for my current, aging go-to navy jacket. The indigo is appealing for slightly different reasons smile.gif

That coffee fresco looks awesome, and I doubt the pants will accommodate my big ass frown.gif

Damn, can't wait for those trousers to drop.  Please keep us posted, need 2 of those at least

I vote for not safe. Either light slate blue or even a purple or navy dot. Or maybe even funkier?

@ehaberdasher, is it possible to lengthen the Bella Spalla jackets for future MTO runs? I had an order placed for the midnight hopsack but ended up cancelling because the length on the 41/42L seems quite short - 30.5" is about an inch shorter than what I've seen from other RTW places (Suitsupply, Spier & Mackay, etc.).

Perhaps I'm the only one with this issue, in which case feel free to ignore this request.

Another vote for slate or lite blue.

The lining doesn't really matter, how often would anyone see it? If anything, funky lining is like funky socks - it shows you're trying too hard.

No real preference, thanks. Lilac would complement, but others might find it too flashy.

Otherwise maybe others can chime in?

I have 5.

There are some older versions that have a more pointed collar shape, and they are either unfused or very lightly fused. They look very Italian, and have more informal collars. The newer ones I have are spread collar, with nice long points that sit very well under jackets.

Both the old and new have a very forgiving cut. If you are super fit,you might find them to be a little large in the waist. I wear drop 7 jackets and I find them to have nice shape without being restrictive when I gain a few pounds.

4 out of 5 have gotten a lot of wear, but the fourth - a white poplin - I found to be too translucent to wear.

The plain blue is one of my go-to shirts. Overall I'm very happy with them.

Thanks! Relieved to see that the coffee fresco works. Although I think taupe is the optimum choice.

I think I'll leave the lining color alone this time around. The factory is already annoyed with me with the issues I've brought up with them already.

I'll speak with them about the jacket length, but right now dozens of pre-orders are already in place based on the measurements already provided so I'm afraid we probably won't change any measurements this time around.

I agree with this, though I know shorter jackets are currently in style, so maybe it doesn't make good business sense to lengthen the jacket. I wear a 36R jacket and 29" is about an inch too short for me as well, though this is currently a fairly typical length for this size.

Well at 5'10" the 36R seemed to fit me just fine in the length. Let me see if we can get them to lengthen by 1 cm without them getting up in arms and wanting to redo the whole pattern which would further delay the delivery. They already want to do so with my request to do the 3 roll 2 and open the quarters a bit but I was emphatic about ensuring that delivery be for July and don't want to cause any delays with samples on such minor adjustments.

Completely understand that you don't have much room to make many changes this close to production. I'm just providing another data point for future projects.
