Yes, in the upgrade we lost the passwords, so you will need to reset. Sorry for the inconvenience!

(Despite what you may think, I get a lot of compliments.)

Will the narrowed Nobile leg be a problem? Is Nobile the way to go now?

The Nobile is indeed slightly more narrow and tapers a bit more. You can try it out and see if it works - otherwise we do have a spare Classico II pant in charcoal here in London that we can transfer to the US and swap out for you.

You also have a full Classico II available on your site. But I understand from the thread that Napoli is the updated Classico II. In other words, its what you consider your improved version. Correct?

Yes, the Nobile has replaced the Classico II model. The shoulders are slightly softer and the neck/collar hugs a little bit better as well. We also adjusted the sleeve pitch by a few millimeters.

Benjamin Bella Spalla pre-orders are up. $160 down then another $165 due in 8-10 weeks when they're ready to ship. The pure cashmere and the silk/cashmere are $200 down then $195 due when ready to deliver.

Ben, these look really great but hard to get sense of scale for the patterns and lighting could be better... Any chance we could see a couple of extra shots per swatch?

Also, when you say lining is only in sleeves, is that literally true, as in, not even butterfly lining in the shoulder / neck area? I love 1/4 lined jackets but I'm afraid without the shoulder lined it will constantly bunch and not fall well... Thoughts? Other folks' experiences?

Thanks

Wow Ben these look great! And thanks for making the deposit idea happen. This makes me motivated to spend more, even though it doesn't make any sense that it should. I guess I need to rationalize spending....

Just a couple questions:
1) how long will the preorders be open for?
2) is there a shortage of any of these fabrics?

Thanks for your message and feedback. I'll post a few more pics in a moment next to a penny. The swatches I have aren't very large, unfortunately, and it's difficult to get accurate photographs of the fabrics though.

I'll also look into getting them quarter lined as well - great suggestion.

I'll probably submit the order for production on the 7th of December.

Yes there is a limit for all fabrics - anywhere from 6 to 14 per fabric.

Great fabrics. I see they are mostly listed as fall/winter. I'm interested in something I can wear year-round, which will depend more on texture than fabric weight. I'm debating between the "Dark blue & navy check with brown windowpane" and "Blue melange with crimson & white windowpane." What's the texture like on these? Are they too wool-y to wear in the spring/summer?

Blue Melange/Crimson Window.  Thats the one...

Not feeling the cotton inclusion.  Not sure why.  I am leaning towards the Taupe with Brown windowpane.

Might be a typo. Title says wool /silk/cash

I went for two, numbers 2 and 7, brown plaid and taupe / brown windowpane. And now I wait...smile.gif
