Just to put this out there - I'd love to see the Napoli model in a lighter blue, like RAF, or a lighter shade of navy. I wish I'd known about your tux when I was shopping for a black tie rig last year!

I have some RAF already set aside and waiting for production! icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif Probably will be the Classico II model though.

OK about 15 Napoli model Benjamin suits sold in the past 10 days, and I'm sure many went to guys from this forum. I'd like to hear some feedback on what you think as this was a test run. If you prefer to PM that's fine too or you can email me directly: ben@ehaberdasher.com.

Ben, I absolutely loved last year's Classico model that I bought in 36S. The shoulder width and pant open width was perfect. I only purchased the navy blue, and looking back I wished I had purchase a medium gray also.

Looking at this year's update on the Benjamin's I am hesitant to make a purchase because the shoulder width is wider and what concerns me most is the narrower leg opening. My legs are slightly bowed, so last year's 8.1" leg opening helped conceal it very well. With the 7.5" I'm sure it will make my bow look more obvious.

I want to purchase a Classico suit in medium gray 36S but you have no more available. As of now there is a 36R on your website, so I'm keeping my hopes up for a 36S.

I hope you guys go back to last year's measurements especially for the pants.

Ben, get some 42/43L Napolis with a 19.25-19.5 shoulder and I will take a Navy and Charcoal right now. I will even pre pay! You guys have some of the best customer service in the business. I would buy everything from you if I could.

It's a bummer....I can't give these guys my money fast enough. Just never have the inventory.

Thanks for weighing in - this is the kind of feedback I'm looking for.

The shoulder width is something I'm playing around with because I did get feedback on both sides: some saying it was too narrow and others saying they were too wide. While I did make them just slightly wider more than anything it is an all together different shoulder shape, so might be worth at least giving it a try. I'm hoping more people who now have experience with both the Classico (or Granoro) model and the Napoli model can give their feedback and thoughts. I'll try to provide shots of me in both later today or tomorrow.

I narrowed the leg a bit more because I just felt it was more current and in line with the slightly shorter jacket and overall current style/trend, which with the less shoulder padding and more Neapolitan shoulder just seemed to fit the shape and style of the jacket. By the way I myself am pretty bow-legged also...

Still no verdict on the Napoli model, but there are the Classico II's due to arrive at the end of this month in 41L/42L and 43L/44L. Have you tried any of our suits before? You're in between those two sizes?

Don't know what to say - demand is a great problem to have, but when coupled with supply/production problems it really sucks. Sorry...

Sorry, but just to clear up something, since the existing Classico fits me perfectly: The classico 2 will keep the same measurements for shoulder and LO, yes? And the napoli will offer different measurements than the classico for each?

I tried the 43/44L, no way the 41/42 would work with my shoulders...although the chest would be fine. The 19" shoulder on the 43/44 was a bit too small, I need another .25". I'm hard to fit with a 42 chest, 19.25 shoulders and 32 waist.

I have two of the Classico suits. They are fantastic and have held up well over the past year.

I think slimming the pants in the Napoli is a step in the right direction because for me the Classico pants are a bit "full". Also, I find that the padding in the shoulders is a bit stronger than I'd prefer.

These two points seem to be addressed in the Napoli. Though I wonder how the shoulders fit since that measurement has been increased.

The increased shoulder measurement and the fact that the cloth is the same as the Classico will hold me off from buying the Napoli for now. But if the Napoli is anything like the Classico, I'm sure it is an excellent suit and well-constructed.

Just snagged one of the Saks cashmere coats in 46/48r. It's tough to find a good selection in larger sizes, so I wasn't about to turn this one down. Looking forward to it since this is my first order from Ben & Co. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

I'll add another vote for a 42/43L Navy Napoli with a 19.5" shoulder. I have a similar body type as you, just a slightly larger waist. 6'2" with 19.5-19.75" shoulders, 42" chest and 34" waist.

I need some help with shirt sizing.

I'm normally a 15.5" x 35" in Brooks Brothers Slim shirting.  I've taken some measurements off that shirt, and I'm still not sure even a 16" Benjamin Sartorial shirt will fit.  Most of the measurements seem close, except for the shoulder.  The shoulder on the 16" Benjamin shirt is still 0.25' to 0.5" short of the BB slim depending on where I measure it from.

Now, I'm a skinny guy.  RLBL is the only suit off the rack that fits me well, but I'm not sure I'll be able to fit into these shirts.

Anyone have any experience with the fit?  Are they as overly slim as the measurements make them out to be?
