1. Return in favor of a 52L (different color, but still one I like) and take in jacket.

2. Have a tailor try and let the trousers out (not sure if there's enough material; had trouble closing them and most of the pulling is at the seat.

3. Look into swapping just pants. The suit I got is the navy, is the fabric exactly the same as the navy separates (plain, not herringbone)? I didn't see a plain navy in a 52 anything (r, l or s) but did see 36 in the separates section.

If the 50L jacket is perfect, then just email Colleen to switch out the trousers for plain navy size 36 - she'll take care of you: service@ehaberdasher.com. Just send the trousers back and she can send you the 36's. They are the same fabric as the suit.

Sorry - or you can also have the trousers let out - consult your tailor first...

Thanks, but I think I'm going to go with option one, the exchange. Eventually (when I don't have an event within a week) I want to have the belt loops removed and brace buttons put in, so for that reason I wouldn't actually mind the trousers fitting a bit larger in the top block.

This is a silly question for you Ben - do you still have any photos of that 40R Belvest tuxedo you had listed a few months ago? I sorely wish I had pulled the trigger on that one

That must be it, though I remember it differently. I remember it having a really unique, soft shoulder which must have been my imagination.

eHaberdasher,

I just wanted to check and see how things were shaping up with the upcoming Benjamin sportcoats and if everything was still on course for them to be in by the end of June? Also you had posted pictures of several swatches that you were using for the sportcoats but said that there were many more fabrics that you hadn't posted yet. Could you possibly post a listing of all the fabrics that we can expect to see along with their corresponding prices? I'm still eagerly trying to hold out for their release!

Next week I'm getting what should be the final sample for approval - will have jackets this summer but no sure if we'll have by the end of June.
