(I'm normally a R, but a Brooks Brothers salesperson tried my in a 42S GF Fitzgerald and it fit exceptionally well, with its natural shoulders.)

Sorry - we're sold out of 41S/42S and 41R./42R... hope to be restocked soon... not sure when but we're hoping by mid-summer at this point.

Hey guys,

So I'm toying with the idea of offering a great quality half canvassed suit in the $325 - $350 range. Any demand out there? Maybe I'll start this as a separate thread...

If the fit works well for me (which I can't confirm, having never tried one of your Benjamins) I'd absolutely be interested. In fact, I'd probably buy four, provided I like the patterns and such.

You'd essentially be targeting the Wizard of Aahs's old market, before his eBay store died. He seemed to have a pretty successful business going, though some questioned the quality of his product.

Given the number of "Where can I get a suit for $300?" threads, I'd imagine you could find the market for it.

Personally, I'd rather see the Neapolitan-cut sportcoats smile.gif

Thanks guys - all very positive so far. I've actually posted a separate thread about this also...

And aravenel don't worry - those sport coats are very high on my priority list! What size should I pay special attention to? biggrin.gif

38-40 smile.gif That's usually a fairly well-stocked bracket, so I'm not too worried.

nod[1].gif Oh yes we go heavy on those, but realize we need to go even heavier!

Ben,

I actually was going to see if you had in your plans for the near future a Benjamin full canvassed double breasted, 6 on 2 buttoned, side vented, peak lapel suit in either the Lucente or the new Classico cut? Possibly pinstripe or solid navy or charcoal?

And as for the sport coats sizing question I say make a lot in the 41/42L sizing!

Hi ehaberdasher,
I have noticed you stock lbm 1911 suits on your website. I have one suit from them in IT44(34R) and it’s a perfect OTR fit(didn’t even have to adjust the sleeves). Do you have any plans to stock them in 34R sizing ?

I have a bunch of newbie lawyer friends still stocking up on sub-$500 suits, so I'd definitely send them this way.

Hoping to get some feedback on my Benjamin tux- can you guys point me in the right direction for what poses are necessary? I'm a lot slimmer than this would lead you to believe confused.gif

Edit: I'll get some better lit photos today

Hmmm... haven't gotten much request/demand for DB (you're the 2nd one... EVER). You may have to wait until we get a made to order program going, and I have no idea when that would be!

Cool - thanks for weighing in and vouching for us! Hopefully this $350 suit will become a reality!
