Are you going to do make this

or this

Particularly in 43r?

What will the pricing be? (Sorry if this is answered elsewhere in the thread; I searched lazily but couldn't find it)

Hey Ben, how much would a 100% Vicuna SC cost?

I saw Lanvin selling one for $20k; would your prices be similar?

It is one of those things that's annoying for an international web business which also targets people outside the EU who won't even think about deducting VAT from the price, unfortunately.

I do recommend making it very clear on the webpage that prices include VAT which will be removed at checkout for outside customers.

Possibly yes for the first (43R/44R euro 54R), but the second one I don't have the fabric. Will have plenty to choose from, eventually! Pricing will be probably $425 - $595 depending on fabric of course. Some may creep above $600...

Sorry don't have any pure vicuna... that would be pretty nuts. Like superfluous implied above... I'm not sure if you are actually being serious or not!

Indeed - will work on that next week. Thanks for the post and clarification to those who are following this thread.

Yeah I was being serious. I always thought that vicuña was blended, until I saw the 100% SC.

Considering your prices are very reasonable compared to other brands, i was wondering how much you would charge for the equivalent product.

How difficult would it be to get those fabric bolts?

Vicuna is really nice, but we haven't come across any pure vicuna bolts or even ends. If we hypothetically did get our hands on some, we would make them in line with discounted prices of the luxury fabrics we have been able to get a hold of (from the likes of Colombo, del Fino, Zegna, etc). Therefore it would not be $20,000 for the jacket I assure you... it wouldn't even be $5,000, since we're all about trying to provide great product and luxury at a discount. But don't hold your breath!

By the way, GBP is at a 2.5 year low against the USD, so for you US guys it's a good time to shop on our UK site http://www.ehaberdasher.co.uk! Remember the VAT is deducted at checkout (when you enter your non-EU shipping address)... the dollar is the strongest it's been against the pound in a while (current exchange is 1.5)! Please do keep in mind that you will have to pay shipping and duty though.

Will you be selling the Benjamin 38R in Navy any time soon?

I'm also anxiously waiting for new Benjamin 38Rs to come in. I've never bought one before, but I only hear good things about them!

The Benjamin suits are great. I'm waiting for the separate suit pants to be available as well as a full 38R navy smile.gif
