There's a Battisti tie on your website that I've been eyeing for a time. However, I was quite shocked to see that shipping for goods up to US$110 to countries outside USA & Canada would be $35. I've had ties shipped to me (in Singapore) from the UK and US for far, far less. Is there a cheaper method of shipping than what is presently available?
Thank you very much. Edited by CrimsonWave - 8/31/12 at 9:07pm
Congrats on the move - do you know yet when the UK site will be open for business? Will you post it on here or put it in your newsletter once you're accepting orders?
I could do with a new suit and I'd love to try a Benjamin...
Hey, I just wanted to check when your Lucente in Navy / 36S would be restocked? Thanks!
Btw, congratulations on the move to London!
Thanks! No more Lucente model, or Granoro for the matter. It has evolved to the "Classico" model now, which is essentially the same body - just a shorter collar for a snugger fit in the neck. They are in, but will not be online in the states until mid/end of next week. Only solid charcoal, navy and medium grey, but hope to have the limited edition fabrics from Loro Piana, Zegna, Colombo, etc later this year.
Firstly, congratulations on your move

Thanks for your message. If you'd like we can ship via first class mail or in a priority flat rate envelope and it'd be like $18. Not sure how much it'd be via First Class. We'd have to manually issue a refund after your order goes through - just send a response email to your order confirmation and we'll take care of it from there.

I've been waiting to add to my Granoro so definitely looking forward to this and to try the roomier pants!
My only issue with orders to Toronto has been that on top of the shipping fee I end up paying another ~ $50 in duties. I order a lot of clothes from the States and never get hit with fees with USPS. Can't explain it...
Well boys the first shipment of restocked Benjamin suits are now online! We only have 3 or 4 of each size so if they sell out before you get to them just hang tight and we should have more in less than 4 weeks!
Regarding international duties: unfortunately it is what it is. We're a real business and have to declare the full value of your purchase price as it is the law. If we did otherwise and got caught we would be heavily fined and be in big trouble and jeopardize the business. I'm sure other vendors fudge it but we are here for the long haul and want to abide by the law. If, however, you have a legal way of circumventing via a friend or relative or third party shipping company, that is your business. Naturally we would like to service our customers to the best of our ability, but legally.

Are these shipping from the U.S. or outside the U.S.?
These are being shipped from New Jersey (USA). We're not yet up and running in the UK but when we are it will be a separate website, separate inventory, etc.
