Are the Benjamin suit jackets cut that fully that they work for someone with a stomach that measures the same as the chest?  Trying to get a feel for how your suits are cut.

No, they are not that full cut - they are actually pretty slim. Wouldn't be able to button the jacket. The Maestro model is cut a little fuller though.

FYI new Kiton jeans and pants (some slightly damaged) and 200 Isaia shirts just in - sending out an email next week but thought we'd alert SF members first!

Any updates on this?

Not that I've been checking the site daily, or anything ... shog[1].gif

There were slight delays due to the flooding in China, but we should be getting about 1/2 the shipment in by air in less than 10 days, and the other half will arrive towards the end of September. The first part of the shipment coming by air may end up selling out quite quickly...

Ben:  what will be the changes in the measurements in the new Granoro's?  I looked at the posted measurements for the current 42L's and they looked pretty comparable to the brands I usually prefer.  My only question is whether the shoulders will be too small.

Measurements are pretty much the same for the jacket - just made the collar a little tighter. Everything else will be the same. The trousers will be just slightly fuller in the waist/seat, and will be tapered 1cm from the knee down.

What measurements do I need to be fairly comfortable buying a suit from your site?

The value is really appealing and the suits look great. I'm just a little concerned as I have quite an athletic body type and usually have a lot of difficulty fitting things off the rack.

5'11

178lbs

32" waist

39" chest

48" around the shoulders

Any recommendations?

Thanks.

Hello,

It's difficult to say for sure, but based on the information above you're probably a euro 50R in most suits. Trousers are probably going to need some taking in the waist/seat, and the jacket may need some additional waist suppression, but again it depends on which suits/brands. We have a variety to choose from:

I'm sure this has been answered before, but how slim are the Benjamin trousers through the seat and thigh? Trying to decide if I need to size up. Thanks

The Verdi model is actually pretty full in my opinion, but the Lucente model is a bit slimmer.
