Agreed! With some minor alterations I think this will look superb! Also I would agree wtih Alexander Scriabin that the button stance is not quite as high as it appears, since the photo of you straight on is taken from quite a low angle... enjoy!

Any suggestions on the alterations besides the ones I mentioned?

Nice. Let us know how it works out! I believe the model you purchased runs shorter in the body length - which looks like it may be OK for you still...

Nope - looks pretty basic as you mentioned - shorten sleeves, hem and let out the waist just slightly. May be helpful to post on the Benjamin suit thread if you care to... thanks for posting as we know there is a deficiency in pics of customers wearing the Benjamin suits!

Not in the Benjamins... not sure what else we have coming in the near future. We did get in a few really great cotton Caruso suits in a dark blue stripe:

Also have the same one in size euro 50R but it has pocket flaps and fully lined.

I have worn my solid navy blue suit jacket as a blazer quite often. It's really quite common nowadays - last week I was walking down 5th Ave. in NYC and saw three different very well dressed men wearing PINSTRIPED suit jackets as blazers - 2 of the three with jeans - and 2 of them with pocket squares, and I thought they all looked great. I personally don't think I'd wear a pinstriped jacket without the matching trousers, but I've seen many people pull it off quite nicely. Brunello Cucinelli does it all the time - of course Italian men seem to get away with just about anything!

I bought a Caruso blazer from Sid Mashburn here in Atlanta last year and it fits like a glove. I'm really hoping this suits fits the same!

Did you sell a lot of 50R Caruso suits? I'm bummed I missed a broader selection of fabrics.

We sold a few, but not a ton in the first 2 days... we still have a great selection!

Put up lots more Kiton sport jackets - including pure cashmere solid navy as well as cashmere/vicuna in charcoal herringbone - some incredible pieces! We're working on the suits now... all sizes from e48R - e60R - many in 14 micron (180's) and pure cashmere - some lightweight worsteds...
