price point - When "price" means the same thing "That BB OCBD is a great shirt at the $89 price point."

fanbase or fan base - It means "fans"

alot - Identifier for 13 year old girls

so - As in "So I was walking down the street the other day...." Are you a standup comedian?

misplaced apostrophes - As in "would'nt"

dumbass apostrophes - Punk'd.......wtf?

Just sayin'.... - Bonus points for being dicked up at least 3 ways

Irregardless

It is not a real word and if it were, it would mean the opposite of what people want it to mean when they say it.

I don't like it when people use the word "word" when speaking to me.

Example.

Me: Hey I just had a nice steak for lunch.
Person: Word

I don't know. How the hell am I supposed to respond to that? Give him the fist bumping hand shake? I don't do that.

I also don't like the F word. People use it too much and it loses its power. A nice fuck you just wouldn't be the same if everyone was used to hearing it.

+1 on 'price point'
dude; it must be being used ironically, right?
bathroom as synonym for lavatory
'(sales) associate' for '(sales) assistant'.
all the other euphemistic, self-aggrandizing bullshit terms Americans (predominantly) see fit to introduce into perfectly inane contexts.

Heh. Tim Ferriss does that all the time. Check out some of his interviews, it's hilarious. I can't stand the use of the word "status." Like when girls say another girl is "model status." I heard Rob Dyrdek use that on Rob & Big when he stubbed his toe, and in pain was saying "Oh man...surgery status!" "Balla" is another one that will always piss me off, along with "Bella" used by myspacers when leaving comments on some hot bitches pic. "You're so bella, mami." "Playa" is annoying as shit. But mostly when white boys use it. Come to think of it, when most white people use typically "black" slang, I feel a slight twinge of anger. But I probably should be attending anger management anyway, so...it might be just me. "Hater." "You're just a hater." Oh christ almighty, shut the fuck up. "Sessy" is another one. I'm getting old and cranky.

I also don't like it when people use the word "tight" to describe something they like.

And the word "Wack" when describing something they don't like.

Anyone here dislike it when people use the phrase "off the hook"? Whats off the hook? How did it get there? And what does it being off the hook have to do with you liking it?

A variation of that is "off the chain". I'm not sure where this came from.

"of" when people say "should of", "could of" or "would of" instead of "should have", "could have" or "would have"
