noooooooo! why would you do that?! it's pretty much sacrificing a suit that you could love for someone else. listen, if you dont call, someone else will. it doesn't make our job any harder. i cant speak for everyone in my store, but i know that i dont mind and i love the business. so please, keep calling!

so it can mean one of two things:
1. yes, there may be a 40S on hold for someone, because one of the SA's had called them earlier, because they were on the contact list from last week of something. they may have called, the customer didnt pick up, so they left a message saying what was available, and mentioned they would hold it for a couple hours to see if the person calls back. if there was no response, it goes back. which is why you should definitely have your name, number, and size on file, so you would be the next person on the list to get it.
2. The waiting list they may have been referring to was the contact list that we've been keeping. if the 40's were sold out, the people who are on the contact list for that size is technically waiting, for more to come in, so they can get phonecalls when it arrives
