PSA: Ralph Lauren Outlet a@ Woodbury Opened Today 25% Off Promotion

I commute between NYC and Albany regularly for business and stop at Woodbury Outlet for a break before heading into NYC. Today was a great day! I discovered the Ralph Lauren store, which just opened today and is offering a 25% promotion. I score a RLBL suit ($450 w/ discount) , RLPL suit ($650 w/discount) and a RLPL cashmere sportsjacket ($450 w/discount). While the prices were attractive, not fantastic.......the selection was amazing for my 38S size in these RL garments.

The suitss and sports jackets @ mostly $599 (tagged price) were the best valued items. I spied a limited selection of RLBL overcoats ($599 tagged price), some leathers, trousers ($295 tagged price) RLPL and RLBL shirts, sweaters and ties.

Thanks for the alert. Is the RL store stand alone from the Polo store that specializes in higher lines like RLPL? Any EG RLPL?

The RL outlet is stand alone and not near the Polo outlet. If I understand your question correctly, the RL store is way upscale to the Polo outlet in decor and caliber of merchandise. When I visited there was only Purple and Black label garments on the racks. I suspect the higher quality Polo Blue Label garments by Corneliani can end up here as well. I didn't see any shoes, but I also didn't ask........I was entirely glazed over by the selection of suits in my size.

BTW, I also visited two other new stores at Woodbury, Brunello Cucinelli and Thomas Pink. Cucinelli was offering 15% off tagged prices and lots of nice stuff but not in my size; the stuff at Pinks is junk.

yea, didn't see any EG, that would be insane if they had any EGs discounted @ the outlet store.
Looks like the Ralph Lauren store is dedicated to carry only Black label and Purpel label stuff.
Its seperate from Polo Ralph Lauren outlet store and Raplh Lauren home outlet store.

Still a good selection of purple/black label suits and sc left when I was there, best selection was in 38 and 40 size, some 42 I think. Also, if you see a what appears to a suit jacket that comes from a 2 piece suit, but you don't see the pants, just look into the trousers section. Mine was first sold as just a sc, but it was obvious a jacket of 2 piece, and I found the pants in the trousers section sold as stand alone trouser. I convinced them it was part of the suit, and wasn't charged extra.

If you are a 46, should get the solid navy purple label suit there. I went with the gray one and didn't pick up the navy one becuase I already own too many navy suits, but it was a very nice solid navy suit, great for formal business wear. For ppl who complain about can't find solid color suits on sale, here's your chance to pick up one.

I am surprised you are able to get the SAs in the store to describe the suits in that much details to you over the phone. The girl I was talking to yesterday on the phone couldn't even tell the difference between a notch and peak lapels. That's why I had to drive up there myself.

But glad you scored some nice pieces.

It's killing me that they didn't have that cashmere 3 piece in my size. Post some pictures when you get it! I've got someone who is going to grab the held suit. Oh, they also had a black Black Label in 38R, which I didn't put on hold.
