My most recent order from Crane's was subpar. I ordered a 256 in Otter Green with the extra handle on January 22nd. Got an email from David Crane the next day saying they're out and I'll have to wait a few weeks because it's a special order for the extra handle. I reply saying I'll wait for the extra handle since I already have a 257 and know how nice it is. I get the 256 in the mail four weeks later and there is no extra handle attached. The word "handle" is crossed out on the invoice and they decided to send me a 256 without the extra handle.
Really? Did you call Dave to find out what happened? That doesn't sound like something we would just do on our own accord.
