I called the store last week inquiring about 256s in tan and was told they were out of stock. But I can't remember what the gentleman over the phone said about the next shipment. The end of this month?

I think they just got their new stock of Filsons in. My order was just fulfilled, thought it is not the 256.

Hi there-

I've recently started a new job that has me traveling semi-regularly, been using a very typical travelpro rollerboard by have started to wonder about the virtues of wheel-less carry on travel....the Filson 243/Pullman and the 246 have caught my eye....

Any one have experience with them fitting in overheads? I end up on 757-200's and 300's and occasionally airbus 319s etc...

Any experiences/suggestions? Thanks

Finally got my 222 ordered. Called in and talked to David, who was very nice and helpful. Can't wait for my duffle to come in!

I have had a very bad shopping experience with Crane. I ordered a Filson 220 which they processed on 30th June. On 7th July I sent them a email asking for the tracking code. No reply. A few days after this I called the store and they said it should arrive the middle of the following week. At the end of that week, on 11th July the bag has not arrived. I asked them once more by email for the tracking code. No reply. On July 15th I remarked in an email that I still have not received the bag. No reply. Yesterday, I wrote to them "Can I please have the tracking code? The bag is still not here. I hope insurance was bought for this (no Flat Rate box)." No reply.

I am now in the process of disputing the charge they made to my credit card.

Hymo really sorry to hear that. I ordered a Filson 257 Tan, it was out of stock, but they let me know that. I got a call when there was a cc issue. Next day got my USPS tracking #. Though the customer service guy, whoever it is, is kinda rude.

We don't charge your credit card until we actually ship the product. Our orders are moved to "processed" when we have printed the order and either ordered in from Filson, or have started the process to box it up and ship it. The bag you ordered was out of stock and we ordered in more on July 5th after the holiday. I'm sorry for the delay, and we expect to have more luggage coming in by the end of the month. I've found your e-mail inquiry in our "spam" filter and responded today. We try to take care and communicate to everyone when there are delays, but unfortunately we don't succeed all the time.

Since it seems easier to reach you here than any one of your two email addresses I used to contact you, I would like you to explicitly know that I am hereby cancelling my order. Please delete my credit card details from your records.

I find it unbelievable that my emails to you would be tagged as spam. You have communicated with me via email before on an earlier order and to tell me the discount code for this order -- any spam algorithm is smart enough to know that an email address which you have replied to multiple times is not spam. Furthermore I called the store and a lady said she has my order in front of her, that it was shipped, that it should arrive middle of next week. You're telling me that none of this is true. You're telling me she is either very confused or an outright liar.

There is something very fishy here. Nothing makes sense.
