Woo! I'm getting an order ready now.

Would you guys recommend one of those Case Caliber Lockback knives for use as an everyday basic utility knife or should I look at one of the nicer ones? You have a lot to choose from.

I noticed, just remember Robin you might have to break down the order to use all the codes. Luggage, then other Filson and the whatever is left. Just leave a note in the customer comment box that you made multiple orders so you could take advantage of the codes. Of course the store is open and you could just call Dave. Sorry about the hoops but it's the only way I can make things work for now.

Get a better knife, a trapper or stockman make for a nice handy everyday knife.

No worries on splitting the order up, I already looked at the numbers and the difference was negligible. You guys are already offering such great deals. And thanks for the tip on the knives, I have my eye on a trapper with a bone handle for my next order.

Also, common sense does prevail, sometimes. I've sent some stuff in with missing buttons and they replace the whole item. But if you've worn it out, send it back with a great story about how much you love them and they'll take care of you better.

OK, in September I'm going to have a little deal called Carhartt days. That means a code for 15 off will be posted for this event. Now I already have price sheets for 09 and the prices are going to be going up on just about everything. Now I know everyone here is into higher end clothing but you certainly don't wear bespoke clothing or big buck denim when you build a deck or dig up half the yard for a garden. Get it while the going is good. More later.

I ordered a bag from Crane's about 36 hours ago and already have it. I also saw this bag at Earnest Sewn in LES for $235. Crane's sold it to me $94.20.

Oh just in case you didn't read the blah blah fine print located somewhere on my site we have a price match policy on about everything we sell. The catches are they have to be a legit dealer, no Ebay matching and the item has to be current stock. Oh and we don't sell seconds.

Hmmmmmmmm, might have to have a week long sale on luggage sometime, guess I'll add that to my list of things to talk to Dave about on Friday before I go fishin' for the weekend.

I got a helluva deal on a 257, but (in the interest of full disclosure) did have to call Crane's 3 business days later to remind them to ship it out...

Did we have to order in from Filson by chance? They did stop shipping to us for a few days over my pricing on the site until I "fixed it". LOL
