Two days left on the special.

One day left on the special folks and.......................

Remember that announcement I made about Filson coming up with something new? Well Dave sent me an email telling me that the stuff is in so this is what we got.

Filson has decided to make some pieces in their luggage collection out of wool. From what I remember it's the heavyweight Mac wool so it's gonna be some tough stuff and the color patterns they chose look really good. This is a test run by Filson so if it goes good then they will introduce it as a regular catalog item. I'll have more info and pics as soon as I get it.

You guys get first crack at this stuff, then it's going up on the site.

^ Sounds great. How soon will they be available?

Robin, in a day or two they will be available. Dave is swamped right now so once he's got some time then he'll send me the info on pricing, pics and quantities available. Then it's first come first served.

I think I've settled on the tote with zipper. will this come in wool?

Can't wait for those pics.

I just got a few pictures sent to me, and they look great. I'll definitely be down for a field bag, and maybe another tote.

I've got them in. I've sent Karl the pictures this afternoon. He'll hopefully have it up in the morning on the 22nd. There is a small and medium field bags, a wool tote (no zipper), and a small duffle. They are in the Burgunday Plaid and the Hawthorne Plaid. You guys will get first crack at them. We'll have to do a call the store type ordering at first.
Thanks StyleForum.

OK I got the pics converted and will be uploading them to photobucket. Fok is going to let us start a thread specifically on these items so stay tuned. I'll edit this post with the link once I have it up. Here's the link to the Filson Wool luggage thread. http://www.styleforum.net/showthread.php?t=83543

I just put the whole site on sale. Now there's an automatic 10 percent discount on the joint. I modified the discount codes so the total percentages off are still the same.

Have fun!

I just made a purchase on your site (#1060) and I think the total discount still amounts to the same as last week's (based on the same items).
BTW, how long does it take before an order is shipped out? Thanks.

Yep the discount is the same on Filson, all that's changed is the entire site is now under an automatic 10 off instead of one category being discounted. if the item is in stock it ships the same day or the next day. If we have to get it from Filson the turnaround goes up to 3 or 4 days. Filson typically takes 2 days to get us an item not counting weekends of course so the wait is minimal.

Curious if you will get the new brown 256 from Filson anytime soon. I've been hankering for that bag in a brown to use for work!
