thur nite...a large cheese pizza from Vito's and sodas came to just under $20......frozen yogurt for 2 afterwards at 21Choices added another $10.....$30 is a lot for a thurs nite, but add to that my Paul Smith bill from my presale pickups and it was a REALLY expensive nite. Plus gas to and from all this cost about $7

Is that American Trash Bar in the UES, 1st or 2nd Ave in the 60-70s? I have fond memories of that place from the early 90s and didn't think it was still around.

Kobe burger for me with organic greens salad = $20. Blue Bottle pilsner = $5. Raviloi special for my associate = $12. Arnold Palmer for him = $2. $39 plus tip for lunch on a Friday. Put it on company credit card

Tonight, we're going to see Get Smart (the movie, not the poster..... I wish the poster and out to eat.) Dinner, at a decent place, $60. Movie tickets, $20. Gas to drive the half hour it is to the closest movie theater and back home? $20.

Ugh.$100 for a decent dinner and a movie here in hickville.

BUT tomorrow, we'll be at the Taste of Tippecanoe (county). So, 1/2 hour drive, $2.50 tickets to get in, and then cheapass food and drinks all over the place plus free live music.

Seeing Get Smart tonite too. Our friends we were gonna double date with bailed due to the influx of bad reviews....but as it's my fave show from the 60s I can't not go, even tho I'm sure to be disappointed.

$21 for 2 tickets, theater walking distance so gas is neglible......dinner TBD but probably cheap and fast

I hear ya. Although, I know it's got the same name, characters, etc (cone of silence), I don't think they're trying to be like the show much at all. I enjoyed the shows a lot, and my girlfriend has never seen them.... so it'll be interesting to see how we view the movie compared to one another.

It could be good, it could be bad. I like Carell, but I really hope he doesn't try to match Don Adams blow for blow, b/c nobody could possibly live up to that.

I'm strongly considering boycotting Get Smart the movie due to my loyalty to the show. Hopefully Steve Carell will try to take it in his own direction because he can only fail in trying to match the comic genius of Don Adams... I'm advocating that everyone considering seeing the movie save his/her money and buy the DVD box set of the original .
