Watching the Celtics beat LA at a bar called American Trash on Tues...good time, they let you bring in food to the place...just thinking about going out tonight...and recalling that I picked up a pitcher of beer ($20) and a whole wheat thin crust fresh mozz. pizza ($21.95) both + tax and tip. beer and pizza in NY = $50, granted it was good...but damn...thats a lot of money for a Tuesday night.

This was a gift from my boss. I kept it for a few months before I just sold it. It is pretty solid. Made in USA. You can't beat the quality. If I needed a sterling silver money clip I would buy a...

I just picked this up and I am pretty pleased. Just what I expected. I am pleased with the Bark. However, I wish it was a little darker. A great deal for $35. Comparable to other belts in the...

what kind of beer is $20 a pitcher ? Don't rattle off some high brow foreign stuff 'cause that is stuff to drink poured in a cold glass and not out of a freakin' pitcher like Pabst.

Wednesday I had a pretty strong allergic reaction to the antibiotics I am on for my umpteenth sinus infection of the year. My tongue started swelling up, I broke out in hives, 100+ fever. Drove myself to the doctors office. Waited 40 minutes. Got a few heavy dose shots of antihistamines and steroids to stop the reaction, and then I got lectured about not calling an ambulance and going to the ER. Whatever. Co-pay+New medication+ old antibiotics I threw in the trash after using them for two out of ten days = $75 But I didn't die. So I suppose its money well spent. Still, thats a lot of money for a Wednesday.

I'd say it's money well-spent. A severe allergic reaction can close off your airway. Sorry you had to endure it, though.

Brooklyn Lager...usually $15 and decent places I go to...$10/$12 on special at some places. I figured a bar called "American Trash" wouldn't have the nerve to go to $20 just like I was surprised to see that I specifically ordered the pizza from a place that advertises whole wheat pizza and then charges extra for it.

Bah... I'd have just given myself a tracheotomy if it would have come down to it. Doctors were a little panicked though, which I thought was a tad unprofessional.

I made some decent steak frites for dinner last night. 2 steaks at $11 apiece. 3 large organic potatoes at $2.00. A ton of canola oil ($1.50 worth?) A frou frou orzo, asparagus, and feta with calamata olives salad on the side - $5 for the two portions. Split a piece of walnut marscapone cake for desert, $4.25. Also, used my grill, so, wear and tear - let's say $0.10 Lessee... that's nearly $35 for a homecooked meal. Man, that's a lot for a Thursday night in.

Oh, well, in that case - A CIT shirt for me, a Graham and Spencer top for my wife, and red envelopes for my two new nieces. Oi... $750 is a lot of a Thursday night. Combine that with my $35 meal, and I'm going to have to get a better job...
