What razor is this?

I got this razor from my dad but I'm clueless on what blades I should buy for it. It was probably originally a business gift so there are absolutely no markings or brand on it - not on the box either.

Can anyone give me an idea on what kind of blades I should be looking for, or better yet a brand?

This looks like the Gillette Trac II that came out in the 70's. Here's a link with a photo for comparison. Blades appear to be readily available, Amazon.com is one source.

Thanks for the quick replies, but fortunately: hooray for cheap universal blades!

I have a heavy beard and sometimes shave twice a day, I've tried every new invention from the Sensor to the vibrating Mach III. I cant seem to get use to electric , and enjoy a wet shave in the shower, after the steam has done its magic, I have switched to two old straight razors that I strop to keep a Sweeney Todd edge on and and probaly save enough $ on blades to not feel bad about looking at some new Edward Greens or G&G shoes!

Yes, I have had that idea as well. They look hard to use though, how did that work for you in the beginning?

Well its for sure some slow strokes at the start, make sure the Razor is sharp - NO SIDE TO SIDE movement - its all about up and down, I did have a few niks at the start, but not any worse than a safty razor, I also tried it on my shave beard at the start so there was no cutting or resistance during the learing phase, I thought this would give me the feel and the lay of the land so to speak without the drag of actual cutting - I seem to have the hang of it.

How about a good, old DE razor? Blades are dirt cheap, awesome shave (after short practice period and a potential for an emergency room run).

I don't get electrics either, I've never used one that hasn't torn up my neck. I shave in the shower with a safety razor, but I do the whole she-bang in there (preshave oil, lather up with a brush, use an alum block afterwards, etc). My shower drain is not my biggest fan.
