Well, some very nice specimens posted. Obviously well-loved, too.

I could easily choose one of a dozen Hobers or one particularly classic (discontinued) FIHT model.

I think if I were going to choose one for all day, every day, it would either be the polka-dot on woven herringbone from T&A (one of the navies, or wine)-- or this one: http://www.mountainandsackett.com/pr...idproduct=3192

Well-made, a clever design, and yet just ordinary-looking enough to be a durable addition to the wardrobe.

changed to about half and half blue and brown with some green thrown in. I only wear blue dress shirts so the brown ties contrast nice and sometimes blue shirt/blue tie is too much. I have some other color ties, but those will be up for grabs here on the forum probably this weekend.

Some awesome ties here though a remarkably large proportion of solids.

I hope you don't mind me bumping this, I'm a big fan of neckties myself and love to see other people's favourites. Here are some of mine: A green houndstooth design, and quite a slim tie. It looks absolutely gorgeous with a light blue shirt and charcoal suit. I just don't want to overwear it because I KNOW I'll end up going off it It's a pink/white/blue stripe from Paul Smith. Unfortunately, that picture makes it look rather odd in shape, and the knot is particularly appalling, for which I apologise -- Anyway, let's keep this going!

My two favorite modern ties--Turnbull and Asser blue herringbone and Charvet "wedding tie".

Here's a vintage late 1940's printed silk necktie. This one drives the girls wild.

Last we have a Countess Mara tie circa 1960. 3" wide. It's on beautiful dark burgundy silk. The theme is "apple".

just a question,

Is there an official Tie Damage thread? Can we post them in here or is it only for our Fav tie?

Since it's already here, why not just make it the tie damage thread too?
