I have owned Sperrys and they fall apart too quickly (alligator effect at the front). Never tried Sebago, but was afraid they might be more of the same as Sperrys. I am looking for higher quality shoes than both those. Not on a budget or anything.

I have 3 pairs of Sperry's A/Os (authentic originals) 2 brown and 1 navy and I think the navy is the most versatile. I know brooks brothers also makes a navy boat shoe with white laces (almost all their male models wear that shoe in their pictures) but I'd say your best bet is to stick with sperry.

, last friday, naively thought it might be a good idea to wear them for the first time barefooted and going to a nightclub. Lets say I did not break them in yet... ...but they did me.

Very goodlooking shoes though!
