It just depends on the person. There isn't one that's considered best. Zyrtec and claritin are both available in generic forms, so you might want to start there.

Quercetin with bromelain from Source Naturals and some other companies does the trick for me. My ragweed/dander allergies only act up if I've been eating a lot of sugary crap.

I have heard unanimously that allegra works better than claritin for anyone who had tried both...personally claritin is what im sticking with until my giant tub of generic runs out, then switching.

I have a neti pot. I haven't had to take allergy medication for 5 years now since getting it. It also helped me avoid surgery for my deviated septum.

Yes, Allegra or 'Son of Seldane' is perhaps the most effective seasonal allergy treatment without major side effects. Seldane proved quite toxic, so I personally would avoid popping an Allegra daily even though studies have not shown the new drug to cause the heart problems that the old one did.
