Grilled peaches, nectarines and plums are also excellent. Drizzle with some honey and top with creme fraiche.

From all accounts, if pulled off correctly, it is delicious.

I saw Jamie Oliver do a grilled pineapple slices coated in sugar ground with fresh mint...

Also, just throwing this out there. Summer barbeque weekend -
Step 1 - cut a hole in the watermelon (no, it's not the "dick in a watermelon song" - if you have no idea what I'm talking about, neverming)
Step 2 - pour hard alcohol into the watermelon, vodka, malibu, etc
Step 3 - Let sit for a day or two
Step 4 - Get sloshed while simply eating watermelon...

I've never heard of this. Is this really a hit with the ladies? hm... i like the idea of feta or goat cheese, maybe with some pine nuts and honey. I have no idea what kind of flavors to expect.

I love watermelon, and I will definitely try this.

One question. Do you put it right over the fire, or do you grill it to the side of the fire like you are doing barbecue? Maybe it doesn't matter.

Direct heat is fine about one to 2 min on each side just long enough for the watermelon to get grill
marks. read my first post for the receipe. its so good.

itskub- cooking in general is a bonus for the ladies but yes it is they will be impressed and feed just enought to burn the calories for dessert
