Derren Brown has extensively trained with clinical hypnosis. Which does really work. He also uses it as an entertainer, where the odds are greatly stacked in his favor.

There may be some wisdom buried in NLP, but it is mostly nonsense (Derren Brown, himself wrote this in his book Pure Effect. If you are interested in this sort of thing you would be much better served looking in to hypnosis.

It will not help you get girls, aside from common sense tips you could find anywhere.

I know it had a boom with the "pick up girls" thing, but that's not my goal, I'm starting to read a book about NLP and gonna try it myself to make my own opinion, thanks.
