To the OP, I'm in my 30s and still don't have much chest hair. It happens. I opt to shave, but it's up to you how you deal with it. You probably notice it more than anyone else, but if it makes you feel self-conscious, get rid of it.

I have one nipple hair that I've had for about 10 years. It's my only one and he's my baby. I used to pluck him but sometimes he'd literally grow back to size overnight. Quite extraordinary.

If it is longer than the hair on your chest, then just trim it; don't shave (well, unless you want the whole hairless look).
