anyone seen this film...comments

best film I've seen in a long time,, twisted and funny in parts.

I saw a play this guy wrote a few years back in london called the pillow man...very good.

Looking forward to anything else he writes.

I enjoyed In Bruges quite a bit. I saw the movie a few months ago, but I remember it was very funny in places and well done but it dragged in some places. Ralph Fiennes was great in it as the boss/villain.

I saw it back in February, thought it was good -- weird, twisted, but good. First, it was barely English that they spoke. Then, the midget getting ready for the race war, while high on horse tranquilizers. Ralph Fiennes was good and I actually enjoyed Colin Farrell. But who was the pusher girl? She was something else.

It's okay. Ralph Fiennes was great, Colin Farrell proved that he still sucks. Some fun dialogues, but overall easily forgetted

i have the complete oppisite view, I thought the villan should have been played by someone else, it ended up being a complete rip off of ben kingsley in sexy beast.

there where some clever moments, the jouney accross the river to death/hell was etherial without being pretentious which is rare.

I heartely recommend his books as well. he's easily the best playwright in the last decade.

Found it to be one of best films I've seen this year (going to see Batman tomorrow so who knows). Really enjoyed the dialogue in the film as well as the deeper story line. It was nice to see what the view from the top of the church tower looked like. When I spent the day in town there I was told there was a fee for going up to the top. I figured the fee would have been put to better use toward a pint at a local pub. I guarantee you that I could tell you more about that pub and pint than the view of any tower I visited in Europe. The characters don't lie, it's a pretty town.

The dialogue was superb. I enjoyed the ending. Ralph Fiennes was brutal in his role!

Just saw this over the weekend. Thought it was a clever (funny) movie and I really enjoyed the dialog. Saw the ultimate ending coming a mile away though. Good comparison to Sex Beast - I really liked both.

I could not finish watching that trite garbage I switched the channel. Oh the humanity, the acting was next level shit and not in a good way...

I enjoyed Bruges more than I enjoyed the film. But having been there made the argument over it much funnier. Ralph Fiennes was great, of course.

Loved it when he karate-chopped the midget in the throat!
