What's your favorite toner/astringent?

I recently picked up Jack Black's 3-in-1 Clear Complexion Solution. It kinda has a weird smell to it after I apply it, but I like that it has ingredients for minor acne treatment. I am not a fan of it having alcohol in it. Are there any astringents out there that other people would recommend?

I recommend not using one to begin with. But some have good luck with them...

When are you using this in your routine? As an aftershave? To clean before shaving? This will help us make a recommendation.

I use Baxters, but I am out. This reminds me that I wanted to try out Sharps next.

I use the PCA Skin smoothing toner. Works well for me as I have combination skin.

Thayer's witch hazel. Rose if you don't want alcohol - Medicated if you do.

The medicated stuff rocks as an after-shave. Smells of peppermint and soothes your face quickly.

I use Anthony Logistics Astringent followed by Jack Black Double Duty Moisturizer w/ SPF 20. The astringent is pretty potent, so I make sure to follow up with a good moisturizer so I don't dry out.
