Is it ok to take creatine and whey at the same time?

I tried searching for an answer, but failed to find a conclusive answer. Creatine and When is best taken within an half hour after workout?

Is it effective if I take them both together in one drink? Thanks!

take creatine before the workout (30 min or so) regardless of what the bottle says, make sure you are on an empty stomach so it gets absorbed quickly take whey after you workout

It doesn't matter when you take creatine, or beta-alanine. Theoretically it's beneficial to take creatine after a workout, but I don't buy it, because you'll probably take creatine again before you work out and muscle uptake will be sufficient for the next workout. It doesn't matter when you take a protein isolate (most whey) if it's just being taken as a meal. For a post/during workout meal you're going to want something with carbohydrates and protein while minimizing fat. Most people just do that with a powder (whey) and milk.
