has anyone had this done? or know anyone that has had the treatments? I have read that its not as intense as the chemical peels and a lot cheaper then laser. I would like to get rid of the post acne scars/dark spots on my face

Not worth the price imo. I had it done, and in the end, it's just a better exfoliation. To say something like that could reduce scaring seems a bit far fetched.

You need to watch out on the chem peel. My local spa charges 70 USD a session, but it only uses 15% BHA. Always expect the esthetician to up-sell you on other services, which might be tempting if they are attractive and charming.

I've heard that it works well but can cause unpleasant side effects (bone aches, etc) for a very long time.

Do microdermabrasions help remove sun damage at all? I've got sun damage on my upper back and shoulders, pretty much slight discoloration and little sunspots and freckles and the skin in that area is a slightly different texture (may be making it sound worse than it really is). speaking of chemical peels, is that something a chemical peel can take care of? Is it easy/effective to use those home-application chem peel kits?
