Bragging thread: So my brother won an Industrial Design Competition!

My brother, right after his high school valedictory ceremony (in which he was the valedictorian!) found out at the reception from one of his teachers that he had won a high school industrial design competition sponsored by a major ID university in Canada (Carleton University)! I'm especially proud since he was SUPPOSED to go there this upcoming school year to study ID, but my dad didn't "let" him go across the country to study, so he's staying for the year and working to make money to go next year. I just hope he keeps his drive to go after a year and not let this talent go to waste. Anyways, enough of that, here's the entry... It's pretty snazzy:

Is this an open bragging thread or is it just for you to brag about your brother? Nevermind, I'm going to go create an open bragging thread in General. You must be very proud of your brother, congratulations!

A good bear pat on the back. Let's hope he's given the appropriate encouragement [and enough industrial backing for his future inventive contributions] required of him to stay in the country, and not be shipped off to Asia later on - where they'll reduce his ideas to landfill!

We want things to last at least a generation now. Enough with moulded plastics and cheaply stamped plywood & particleboard!
