Curious if you saw any of Jon DeBoise's stuff? I know they're traveling together on this trip.

Curious about that as well. Last time i went in for a fitting with edwin it was Jon that answered the door. He was smiling when i said i was there for a fitting then that changed to a sorta sad face when i said i was there to see edwin lol. Im curious to see his work though i hear its a lot more structured that Edwin.

I didn't see any of Jon's stuff unfortunately. Wish I had asked to do so, but I had to run to a meeting.

Just saw this on Vox's blog. Really nice.

Bespoke double-breasted roll lapel dinner jacket, by Steed (Edwin DeBoise) for GQ’s Glenn O’Brien (a.k.a., The Style Guy), as seen in the current special edition of GQ out now called, well, The Style Guy.

Just took delivery of the Lumbs Golden Bale flannel below as a DB suit from Steed.

Incredibly comfortable right out of the box.

Will try and take fit pics when I can.

Looking forward to see it. Also, can you photograph the box they shipped it in, and on what hanger?

Thanks.

Thanks.

It comes in a large rectangular box not too dissimilar from a large USPS Priority Mail box. They don't send hangers.

My style is a little too sedate for a windowpane suit, but if I were to get one, that would be the fabric I'd want. IMHO wndowpane (and PoW) look their best in flannel, and that one looks just the right amount of subtle. Very nice, looking forward to seeing the whole thing.

That was pretty much my exact thought process.

Tom Mahon's latest blog post is up and has, I believe, a preview of a coat in the LL city gun club I'll be receiving soon. I'm very much looking forward to it!

Fit pics! So here's the Lumbs Golden Bale (purchased from NY Ranger) made up by Edwin and Matthew DeBoise of Steed in a 6 x 2 double-breasted suit. Please excuse any bits of wrinkling/creasing as it just was received and taken out of the box yesterday. Regardless, they did a great job as usual! It is incredibly comfortable. I forget the weight, but it doesn't feel too heavy. Wears very nicely.

Looks lovely, Slew.

That is easily one of the best double-breasted fit I've ever seen. Congratz on the suit!
