PSA: Recent Paul Stuart and RLBL Price Drops - Page 6

They said they have the following 4 shoes in my size: 1. Steven - cognac captoe 2. Nancy - pebble grain with rubber sole 3. Alex - cognac penny loafer 4. Marcus - brown pebble grain wingtip The first 2 were 50% and the last 2 were 70%. If anyone has more info on any of the shoes it would be appreciated!

Are these all Phinease? What size are you? I think I've seen the Marcus and liked it.

I saw the Marcus in Chicago yesterday and would have picked up a pair if they had them in my size. I also bought a pair of the stephens in burgundy. they are a bal captoe with brogueing on the cap and around the lacebox. They come with trees too. For $222 you cant beat them.

damn. wished I lived in NYC!

Frustrating that the PS website does not have a very updated shoe listing. The site doesn't even list any PCole shoes.

Anyone have a pic of the Steven?

Buhler?
I was told the steven was 678 at only 50% off which makes it $339...

SF members are cleaning out the store...just called the Chicago store and SA said they have very few Phineas shoes left.

Pulled the trigger on the steven and marcus. Eric helped me out and he was great!

Anyone familiar with the PC Manolo(sp?)?
^ IIRC, SA described it as a "British tan" pebble grain blucher. Didn't get any more specific than that.
^^ It may be the shoe shown in the banner at the top of the shoe page linked on the first page of this thread. If its the same one I saw at the Chicago store its not tan, its yellow.

Which wingtip brogue is at the top of the banner?

My bad, meant to add one ^, not two. I was not referring to the wingtip brogue, but the "british tan", pebble-grain blucher. Its the shoe at the bottom of the banner.

can you elaborate on this a bit...perhaps relative to the Andy boots.
i definitely want the Andy, but would also be interested in a wingtip bal boot too.

are both of them Choice models?

I think that the wingtips were SC since they were made in England. The leather was a sort of washed-out light brown color, with a matte finish. They were cut very low, and just came up to my ankle. Given the amount of broguing it seemed to me that they should be cut slightly higher, like the wingtip, cordovan Alden boots for Leathersoul. Anyway, I didn't like them.

I posted pics of the Andy above, they are beautiful boots and clearly a knockoff of the EG Shannon. The wingtip bal boots aren't even in the same ballpark, let alone the same league.
