Highly unlikely. I've never seen sales this good at the regular sale--and this wasn't a regular sale, but rather a moving sale. To put it in perspective, at the sample sale Stuart's Choice start around $250-$300 IIRC.

Mystery solved! The shoes are marked 11.5 D, the shoe trees are marked 11.5 E. Given that I own and tried on other Stuart's Choice that were marked 12D and they fit fine, its obvious that the Andy is a one-off sizing error. That may be the reason that the Andys are still there.

The bal wingtip boots are a chukka boot, they had them in my size, but I thought that they were kind of ungainly. The Andys are much nicer.

kaxixi and saint, how about some pictures of your purchases?
I'll try to post them tomorrow. The other odd thing about the Andys is that the shoe trees say Phineas, but the boots are made in England and the box says Stuart's Choice. I thought that Phineas shoes were made in Italy and Spain. Great boots, anyway.

I'm pretty sure all phineas cole shoes are english benchgrade.

When trying to call I get some automated message for what sounds like the company phoneline. I used the phone number off the website. Is that the right number?

These are the Andy boots I got from PS. Sorry for the poor quality of the pics, can't seem to find my tripod.

The sole of these boots measures 13.5" my size 12 RL Sheldon monks measure 13.25, and my 12.5 Alden captoe boots measure 13.5", so they definitely seem like a 12.5.

That's it. Hit 0 and ask for sales.

Will give it a shot in the next day or to.

Very nice boots saint. kaxixi, are the wingtip balmoral boots you saw similar to the Andy?

Don't know. The Andy is certainly not a wingtip, so I shouldn't have confused it with your description. Apologies.
I saw the wingtip bal boots, they are nowhere near as nice as the Andy, not bad for the price, but not great boots.

PSA part 2: PS store in NYC is having a private sale starting today. Shoes are included in the sale but they are not permitting phone sales.
