Ah well, one pair is good enough for me. I'd been wanting a nicer suede brogue.

What did they even have in Phineas?

And thank you for the heads-up!

OK so Paul called me back and had a burgandy shoe and a black shoe. Black shoe was only 50%, so I passed. The burgandy shoe is a Phineas shoe, a balmoral (I hope, but I had to explain bals v bluchers to Paul, so I'm crossing my fingers). He said it's a cap toe w/ no medalion but punching around the throat - an adelaide maybe? We'll see next week. Oh, and probably no shoe trees. I can't wait to open the box and see what I bought.

I got those bals in two colors, burgundy and tan. As well as a full brogue in cognac and a cap toe in chocolate brown suede.

I just called Paul Stuart and was told they are not taking phone orders at this time.

My SA said the sale has been going on for a month and that this is the last week.

Well, I guess I got lucky. Got two Phineas Cole shoes (Hughes and David) for $200 and $240 (I think the latter was a mistake b/c it was only a 50% off shoe).

Eric Latt helped me out - very helpful.

Btw, I called at the store's opening this morning.

I don't think anyone has pics, and there are none on the website.

I called back and asked for Karen by name; she was incredibly helpful.

I bought a pair of Andy boots (no pictures online). Marked down 70%.

Just got back from PS in Chicago, still plenty of Stuart's Choice and some Phineas left, mostly in smaller sizes. There are lots of 8-8.5s left and a few pairs that are 11 and up. I picked up a pair of the Andy boots. They are made in England, burnt-pine, balmoral boots and extremely nice, mine came with lasted trees. However, they run a FULL SIZE LARGER THAN MARKED, so be careful if you are ordering them over the phone. They do have a pair left in 11 which fits more like a 12, I picked up an 11.5 which fits perfectly (for reference I take a 12 in RL C&J and EG shoes with the EG being a bit tight at first).

Got out of the lot with 2 minutes to spare. She really is devoted to customer service.

Are the Stuart's Choice UK sized or are the Phineas? The SA didn't mention anyting about that.
I'm surprised to hear that the boots run a size large. All the PS English made shoes I've ever encountered are US sized.

Hmm, the boots sounded tempting but I had to pass. They ran out of balmoral wingtips, unfortunately. Sadly, the salesman thought "balmoral" was the name of the style.

I received a private sale notice for the NYC PS starting this coming Monday - will they have similar discounts (70% off etc.)?
