These are the Andy boots I got from PS. Sorry for the poor quality of the pics, can't seem to find my tripod.

The sole of these boots measures 13.5" my size 12 RL Sheldon monks measure 13.25, and my 12.5 Alden captoe boots measure 13.5", so they definitely seem like a 12.5.
No more Andy's, period. Called and spoke with Karen. They unfortunately do not have their shoes on their website. No shoes left in size 11D with shoe trees either. A lot of shoes still from Stuart's choice, with 70% off, benchmade and size 11.

What made you order the hughes? Anything in particular?

Since my first SA wasn't the most helpful I called back this AM and spoke with Karen - you know, just to see if there was anything I had missed She found four shoes in an 11. I didn't have her look for loafers, so ther might be others.

Steven / Stephen - the brown/burgandy perforated captoe with no medallion, which she said is very nice. I hope so, cause that's the one I ordered the other day. $678 - 70%

The second was a tan, 3 eyelet pebble grain blucher. $678 - 70%

Third is what sounds like a chelsea boot with a medallion, perfed wing tip, brouging around the perimiter - what I'd expect on a bal boot a la Shannon II? And there was more brouging somewhere else - up the heel maybe? It was just too busy to picture in my head so I passed. She said it's very good looking, but... Anyhow $487 - 70% might be a great deal.

Finally was a rubber-soled 5 eyelet blucher boot which was supposed to be burgandy, but which Karen said was more orange / russet in tone. Possibly light padding around the collar. $600 - 70%.

That's it for the 11's with laces.

I was a little unsure of this one just because of the light brownish color, but the description made me get it. At 70%, it wasn't that hard of a choice.

So funny. She was back and forth on the phone with both of us at the same time!

She also found an 11D in the Hughes, rosewood she said. Plus another pair that was made in England, unmarked from the factory.

Unfortunately, all sold out of the Andys - very nice indeed!

Did you happen to see the Hughes when you were there?

No. I wish I had talked with her when I ordered the first pair, but everything she had that wasn't what I had already agreed to buy isn't really what I'm after. She was able to find more than the first guy did, but nothing I currently need. I wish I could see that wingtip chelsea, but I just hesitate to order it sight unseen - even at $150. Of course, having just typed that I'm thinking - "Do it, Man! It's only $150. They might be great".

Just called earlier and spoke to Antonio. Apparently, no more English made shoes on sale in 11.5D except for Manolo. Everything else is going back to the warehouse in nyc b/c a wholesaler has bought the lot.

Anyone else getting different feedback?

I also spoke with Antonio and he told me the same thing...but it sounds like Karen is a little more helpful in finding shoes.
