PSA: Recent Paul Stuart and RLBL Price Drops

Went to Paul Stuart and Ralph Lauren in downtown Chicago today.

Paul Stuart increased the discounts on many items to 70%. There are quite a few Stuart's Choice shoes at this discount, in a variety of sizes (8.5-12 were common). Some of the shoes are for the Phineas line and come with lasted shoe trees. Most of the sportcoats, though not the bare basics, are also discounted 70%. Basics are still 50%, as are trousers, shirts, ties, scarves, etc.

I spent less time at Ralph Lauren, but prices on non-basic Black Label suits were dropped yesterday to $699. There is not a large selection left, but I imagine that if you act reasonably fast, they can locate your size somewhere.

Enjoy!

How much were the Stuart's Choice shoes? Do you remember which styles were on sale?

I was at RL in Manhasset yesterday. They had some great Black Label suits for $698. They were originally $1900!

678 - 474.60 = 203.40 They have a fairly wide variety of styles, including black perforated captoe balmorals, dark brown laceup boots, tan brogue balmorals, cream suede / dk. brown spectators, and many more I can't recall. Edit: Price quoted was for the black captoes (off my receipt). Some of the Phineas shoes were priced higher. The non-"Choice" shoes lower, but were still priced with only a 50% discount.

Oh, yeah, totally blanked on that one. They have a gorgeous brogued wingtip in black--it may be that one, but I am not sure of the name. Really sorry they didn't have it in my size.

I'll take a pair in size 7.

soaped, I think it was the balmoral wintip that I saw. This one, but in black: http://www.paulstuart.com/product_in...SUBPRODCATID=0 long_knives, they had few or no size 7's.

I just picked up 4 pairs in size 8.5. 3 Phineas with trees and 1 Stuart's Choice. All at 70% off. My sincere thanks Kaxixi!

Then I revise my original statement. There is a broad selection in sizes 9-12.

Are they final sale or returnable?

Final.

(And some of the shirts I bought sight-unseen over the phone are a touch large )
