+1 For the praise for that DB fresco with the tie silk. But you did really well with all your choices. Enjoy them.

Currently, half my jackets are now 3-roll-2 while the others are 1-button. I didn't think I'd be able to get sleep, but the time has passed with surprising ease. Who knows, maybe I'm turning a new leaf?

Bill, please sport the Fresco blazer to the NYC get together later this month. I know it's not seasonal, but I won't be able to steal it from you otherwise.

Whoops, forgot about this one. Yellow, tan, and green check in a 9 oz silk/wool vintage fabric (for the spring / summer). 3R2, patch pockets, half lined in white silk, muddled brown buttons.

Cool old school touch with the single sleeve button. Do they just go with whatever seems right with the fabric?

I asked for it, seemed appropriate but I don't know why...

Since this is the Rubinacci thread, I will say that the master seems to be less rigid with a "house style" than many bespoke operations.

I like this in that having fun and being satisfied with the commission should be part of the ultimate product.

But, I have a feeling too that if someone were to commission something and were to suggest something that Rubinacci strongly felt would not be a good idea, then Rubinacci would not be shy to tell the client he thought it was a mistake.

Because like all disciples of Manson, he keeps a dossier and pretends he doesnt care. It's a cult thang. At least put the link in from here! We shouldn't spoil dog boy's moment to show us his inconsistently made and expensive stuff.

I am so jealous right now. I can't wait to see fit pics. Looking forward to the NYC meet up if only to be close to such fine garments. I also second that Iammatt should post more of his stuff. I mean, he's the grand daddy of Rubinacci on this board and he's not posted anything in this thread (or fit pics in quite some time). I remember the days when you could count on seeing a great Iammatt WAYWT post like you could a Vox one.

And you wanted us to see those spiffy buttons, you little Dickens You know...they look a bit like they were fashioned from a rawhide bone
