I think cause of all the hopsack talk before, Smith's steadfast book is definitely a fabric I want to check out in the future, I'm sure its much more affordable than the stuff coming out of the LL and just as nice

It's real nice - the entire book is worth a look.

As far as the weight. I work and live in an air conditioned environment. Nuff said.

14/15 oz. is generally very heavy, not just in summer. Indoors, with temperature control, it will wear quite warm. Plus, whnay is in Atlanta.

I've worn flannel in October in Atlanta when its still 80F and I've been just fine.
